20 Marche 1498. Stephin Karkeregge of Cranebroke. To be buried in the chauncell of our Lady in the north side of the said chauncell by side the Image of our Layd. To the light of Ihu 20d., our lady light in the same chauncill 20d. To the light of Seint John Baptist 20d. To Seint Katheryns light 20d. To Seint Dunstans light 20s. Seint Margaretts light 20d. Residue to John Karkeregge only sonne and he and Simon Linche executors.
Last Wille: To John Karkeregge my sonnes eldest sonne my principall messuage wt the landes thereto annexed and in the werke house vpon the same when he cometh to the age of 26 yeres. To Thomas K. my sonnes secunde sonne all suche landes as his moder hathe to her joynter, except the medewe at the Crosse, I will that John K’s eldest sonne have to him in fee simple for ever. To Gerves K. my sonnes 3rd sonne 4 peces of land at Rodforde at age of 26. If all die then to their fader John Karkeregge. My pece of lande called Bealdes lieing at Holme Busshe upon the denne of Cranebroke my feoffee Simon Lynche to receyve all the profits for 30 yeres or ells hys sonne William Lynch to keep an obite 30 yeres in the church of Cranebroke. 
To the feoffes of the [Pat. Roll. 14 Henry VI pt. 1 1435 10 October Pardon to Wm. Lynche of Cranebrok Kent ‘chapman’ for not appearing to answer Wm. Preneys citizen and mercer of London touching a plea of debt of £13]. landes of the chapell of the holy Trinite at Milkhouse 14s. 8d. of peny rent whiche I purchased of Thomas Seint John Esquyer to be had of the landes called Sharpes in the parish of Cranbroke upon the denne of Litle Hasilden to say masse of requiem &e. I will that Maister George [blank] sing in the church of Cranebroke.
