THOMAS BLANKETT of Maidestone [Maidstone], 16 May 1513. To be buried in the churche of Alhalows of Maidestone at the ende of the sete where I sitte before the aulter of Corpus Cristi. To churche of Lesdowne on such reparacons as be mooste nedfull 40s. To reparacon of the houses of Corpus Cristi 13s. 4d.
To Robert Gore of Maidestone my best gowne &e. To William Bulle my servant my tawny gowne and three quarters of malte. To Elene Baus [?u or n] my servaunt a brasse potte of 2 galons &e. To Richarde my sonne my best fetherbed &e and 2 brasse potts of the grettest that I brought wt me, a dosyn of sylver spones that is to saye a dosyn that I bought of Burdon, the best spruse chest that I bought wt me. To Johane my wyff all the stuff she brought to me and £20. Residue to William Wreke and Thomas Wreke executors and John Person of Maideston ouerseer. Witness: Sr. Thomas Hanson his gostly father, John Pierson, John Lee, John Cooke and Thomas Tobye.
Last will: of my lands &e in Maidstone or elsewhere in Kent in the whiche Robert Fissher, Wm. Tilden, Richard Snepe, Richard Hely, William Wreke and Thomas Wreke are infeoffed. They shall suffre myn executors to have and ocupie all the landes and tenements in the parish of Maidstone with a fery called Redy Fery with all the landes &e whiche Walter Chamberleyn and William Grigge lately occupied in the Ile of Shapie during lyff of Johane my wyff to the performaunce of my will. After her decesse lands in Ile of Shapie to be solde and five marks to reparacion of church of Leysdowne and residue to churche of Mynster.
After decesse of Johane my wyff Richard my sonne shalhave my house in Estlane in Maidstone called the Newe house and indefault to remayne to William Wreke, Thos. Wreke, Wm. Cokerell and John Cokerell my susters children. After Decesse of Johane my wyff John Cockerell shalhave the Fery called Ride [sic see above] Fery.
To Richard my sone my tenement in parish of Ore [Oare] besyde Feuersham bysyde the churche and in defaulte of issue to be solde and 4 marcke to the churche of Ore and my said sonne at age of 23 all my landes &e in parish of Lesdown and in default to be sold and £6 to churche of Lesdowne.
Myn executors to take profitts of my mylle during the lease of the same for an obite in the parish church of Maideston to the some of 10s. My cousyn Thomas Blanket to have all suche landes as I bought of hym in Shapie.
