JOHN LECHE of Maydeston [Maidstone], draper, 25th August 1509. To be buried in churchyarde of the parishe church of Alhalowen in Maydeston. To the werks of the body of the same churche 23s. 4d. To the fraternytie of Corpus Xpi wt the same church 10s. To the Roodelight 2s. To euery other light 2s. To the Freers of Aylesford to sing two trentalls in their convent chirch for my soule and the soules of my fader and moder 40s.
To Stephen Leche my broder £10. To Johane Leche my suster £5. To amending of the high way in Stonystrete 40s. To Robert Wodyerd £5. To William Wode of London gent, my russet gowne furred wt fox skynnes. To Alice Wode wif of the said William Wode 20s. To William Kyng 20s. To ------ Cook of Maidstone 6s. 8d. I will 20s. that my fader bequethed to the foresaid church be paid. I bequeth to Thomas Hatwiche 5 marc of my stuff. Toward the costs of the new bell late bought for the said church 6s. 8d. To the werks or reparacions of Maidstone Brigge 20s.
To Alice Wode wife of Wm. Wode my stondry maser garnyshed with silver wt the cover. To Thomas Polyll of Shorham my best gowne furred wt Ficheux. 
To Alice my wif my londs and tenements in Kent and affir hir decesse my lond called Frankefeld in parish of Barnyng [Barming] be solde and Nicholas Mascy shalhave the money when 22.
Executors: Alice my wif, Thomas Polyll of Shoreham, Wm. Ade and John Plommte of Maideston. William Wode of London, gent. euerseer. Witness: William Salmon parishe preest of Seynt Botulph wtoute Aldrichegate of London, John Cooks of Maydeston, Robert Wodeyerd and William Carkeke, seryvenor.
Proved 10th October 1509 by Alice relict, Thomas Polyll, Wm. Ade and John Plomer.
Further grant 26 February 1531 but no names mentioned.
