WILLIAM AMYOTE, citezine and skynner of London, 24 November 1492 (8 Henry VII). To be buried within the north chapell of the parish church of Seint Johane in Walbroke of London. To the Prior and Convent of Ledes my standing cup of silver gilt with a cover therto with a fawcon apon the top of the same couerys standing apon 3 lyons.
To Margery Byrcheley my sister 10s. I forgive Benet Barling 6s. 8d. To Elisabeth my daughter my russet gowne furred with blacke lambe and a litle maser with a bond ther aboute of silver and gilt and 20s. in money. To Alianore Wellys 6s. 8d. To my cousyn Avelyn in money 6s. 8d. To William Olyuer my doughters sonne 6s. 8d. To Margaret Olyuer 6s. 8d. To William Barham my apprentice 10s. and if he well and trulye serve oute his yeres of apprentishe with Joyes my wif or with som other man of my craft. To Symond Brenwere 3s. 4d. To Margery Foxhole 12d.
My feoffes who stande enfeoffed with me in my tenement &e in Maideston [Maidstone] in Kent to make a state to Joycs my wif for terme of hir lif and then to be sold and to parish church of Saint Johnys in Walbr 20s. to parish church of Sutton Valance in Kente 20s., there to be remembred to pray for my soule.
Executors: John Hyndeson, gentillman and Robert Penson, citezin and skynner of London, Syr Thomas Appalby priest, overseer.
