17 Feb. 1546 (I E.VI). James Tumbrege of Dytton (Ditton) in Kent, dioc. of Rochester. Sicke in body etc. To be buried in the churche yarde of Dytton.
   He willed unto John Edmede of Marden and Robert Edmede his brothers in lawe the oversight and governance of his childer goodes and lease equallye portion and portion like amongs the childer of the said James Tumbregge as they shulde thinke mete.
   He willed that if his wife be with childe the said childe shulde have a porcion ofhis said goodes but not so good a porcion as the other childer had bycause the other childer had taken more payne with him.
   Witnesse Sir Thomas Greve curat of Dytton, Edmonde Mason of Est Mallyng and Wm Affelde of Dytton.
   Probate 12 March 1546 by John Edmede exor. Res. ptate Robto Edmede exec ecian cu vendit.
