13 Junii 1506. William A Ware of the parisshe of Townbryge. To be buried in churchyarde of Tumbrige. To high awwter of Lygh 20d, of Sevenok 12d. To repacons of the churche of Tumbrige 6/8.
   To every doughter that I have a kow.
   To Jone my wif my napry ware and beddyng, bordeclothes, towells, napkyns, etc. my maser and xj sponys and x kene.
   After the decesse of the said Johane I will Thomas my son have the said maser and xj sponys.
   Residue to Johane my wif and to John my son whone I make exors.
   I will John Children be overseer and I bequeth to the same John A Children 6/8.
   Wit. Wm Coltherst, Wm Bechar, John Waston.
   This is: I will Johane my wif have my messuage in the which I dwell with certeyn parcells of land of the which oon ys callid Roseland, the secunde Colyars, the thirde Walders, the 4th Hobnyfells and 3 pecs of land called Stidalffs, Robynnysacre, and le Schott and one tenement lately of Sibells A Ware to thende of time of hir lif and after remayn to John A Ware my son the yonger payng to Alice his suster at hir mariage X mark. My will ys that after John A Ware my son thelder have oon messuage callid Hasdens one acre in Bodilmede, one parcell of land callid Solefeld, and one tenement callid Martens Baldwemede and a croft and ij acres of land which I bought of Mr Roger Lewkeneor.
    My will is that Wm A Ware my son have all my lands and tenements in the parisshe of Sele and Kemesyng except and reserved to Agnes and Margarete my doughters ij crofts of land clallid Hacchecroft and Watercroft, iij acres in Dowlefeld the which I will the forsaid Agnes and Margarete for their mariage.
   I will Wm Coltherst scholmaster of Sevenok to have the forsaid and tenements with all their appertns lying and beyng in the parisshe of Sele and Kemsyng by the space of 4 yeres than next folowing and ensuyng to fynde the forsaid William to Scole honestly conven- yently seeyng Repacon after the advise of myn executors and supervisors.
   I will Roger Ware my son have all my lands and tenements at Wykerhest the which lately were Ric Swones, one tenement callid Brikehills, one tenement with a barne callid Westwode and Quinotts, ij crofts of land callid Merlys, oon parcell of land callid Dewlongmede payng to Parnell his suster at hir mariage X mrks.
   If all my doughters dye then XX mrks to a honest preest to syng for the helth of my soule etc. one yere at Tumbrige and oon yere at Sele and residue of the 20 mrks to my next heir.
   Probate 24 July 1506 by Johan relict and John A Ware exec.
