8 Feb. 1507. William Wodecok of the parisshe of
Aylesford. To be buried in the parisshe churche of Aylesford. To the repacions
of the said churche 6/8.
To every of my godchildern 4d.
Residue to Benet my wif executrice. This is of and upon all my
tenements and lands wherin Robert Gibson and Ric Thondon are by me enfeoffed
as by a dede unto them made bering date of this presents more playnly it doth
appere.
I will my said feoffers suffre Benet my wif to occupy all the
said my tenements and londs for time of hir life keping sufficently repacons.
I will my feoffers make a laufull astate to Margaret my doughter
aftir the decesse of Benet my wif and in a pece of land callid Shepeland (6
acres).
I will Elizabeth my doughter aftir the deth of Benet my wif
shalhave all my tenements and the Residue of my londs for time of hir lif and
aftir hir decesse I will that hir childern shalhave all the said londs and
tenements to theym and their heirs for evermore. If Elizabeth dye withoute
yssue then to be sold and money to fynde an honest preest to syng in the
parishe churche of Aylesford by the space of half a yere and he to pray for my
fader and moder me and my wiffs and all cristen soules and to have V marke and
residue unto he repacons of the said churche.
I will Benet my wiffe fynde a preest to syng half a yere and to
have V mark and that Benet my wif pay unto Margaret my doughter 6/8.
