IX Sept. 1501. John Tebold the elder of the parisshe of Sele in Kent. To be buried in the church of the blessed Apostellis Petre and Paule of Sele. To high aulter for tithes etc. 10s. To the church of Bromley 3/4. I bequethe for a cope to the Church of Sele £6.13.4.
   To John Tebold my sonne all my cloth beying in my shop of Sele and Sevenok.
   To the mariage of Alice my doughter £10. To Johanne ?Selierd my doughter £10 within 3 yeris that is V marke by the yere.
   I will that a preeste syng and pray for me and my frendis in the churche of Sele by the space of ij yeris.
   Residue to Johanne my wife and I make her execce and John Tebold my son my executour. This is of all my lands and tenements and pasturis fedynge placis rents and svyces in my feoffes hands.
   I will Johanne my wife have all as is above rehercid for terme of her life if she lyve sole and be not maried and after her decease or if it happen the saide Johan to marie than I will yt John Tebold my son have all my foresaide landis etc to him and his heires for evermore.
   To this witnessynge Maister John Mellour, Robt Joynour, Henry Swaselande, John Wery, John Lamport and Thos Clamport.
   Probate 14 Nov. 1501 by exors.
