Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Martha NAPLETON  1711  St Nicholas at Wade

The medallion measures 23½inch x 20½inch and is cut on a blue stone of Bethersden (?) marble 79inch x 32inch in the Chancel.

Arms: [Or] a squirrel, sejeant [gules] holding a sprig ppr.

Here lieth Interred the Body of Martha the Daughter of Moses NAPLETON late of this Parish, Gent and of Mary his wife. She departed this life the 4th Day of August Ano 1711 in the 14th year of her Age.
