Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Frances HEMPSON  1699  All Saints Church, Maidstone

The medallion measures 16inch x 17inch and is cut in relief on a blue ledger stone 66inch x 33inch on the south side of the Choir.

Arms: Three swans’ heads issuing from as many coops (?) impaling ..... a bird.

Here lyeth the Body of Frances the wife of William HEMPSON of Lincoln’s Inn, Esq. and Daughter of Edward ADAMS late of London, Merchant who departed this Life October 1699.
