Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

 Frances Lady ROMNEY  1795  All Saints Church, Maidstone

The medallion measures 17½inch in diameter and is cut in very high relief on a dark blue marble ledger stone, 60inch x 39½inch in the Chancel within the altar rails.

Arms: Ar, a lion passant in bend gu. Between two beadlets az. Above the shield is an earl’s coronet, and below it a scroll with the motto NON SIBI SED PATRIE

The Rt Honl Frances Lady ROMNEY Daughter of Charles late Earl of EGREMONT died 11 Jany 1795 Aged 39 years. Also Her Rt Honble Consort Charles Fifth Earl of Romney Died March 1811 Aged 66 years.
