Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Margaret GREENHILL  1753  St George Church, Canterbury

The medallion measures 22inchx 21½inch and is cut in relief on a blue ledger stone, 78inch x 38inch in the south aisle.

Arms: .... on a saltire engrailed... a trefoil for GREENHILL impaling three griffins segreant ... two and one (?for NETHERSOLE).

Here lieth Interr’d (near the remains of her late husband, and their two Sons) the Body of Mrs Margaret GREENHILL, widow of Richd Greenhill of this City, Gent. She died the 22nd of January 1753in the 94th year of her Age.
