Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Sarah BAKER  1779  St Lawrence's Church, Hawkhurst

The medallion measures 19inch x 16½inch and is cut on an altar tomb in the church yard, on the east side of the church.

Arms: Appear to be those of BAKER of Mayfield, Sussex, viz: arg. a tower between three keys, erect, sa. Crest: On a tower sa. an arm embowed in mail ppr, holding in the hand a piece of plate iron az.

Sarah BAKER Daughter of George .......Baker Esq .... and Maria his wife Died 10th day of February 1779 Aged 60 years.
