Abstract of Will from Hythe, Kent from Arthur Hussey’s Manuscripts

Will of Julyane WOODE of Hythe, Kent 4 July 1546

Julyane, widow of Richard WOODE, 4 July 1546.
Buried in the church beside my husband.
Executor – Gregory CROMPE my son in law, with Master MATHEW overseer, he to have 20s.
John WOOD –a great kettle, etc. six silver spoons and a maser, and to his wife my gown with velvet cuffs.
Thomas, son of Richard WOODE, brass pot, etc. Margaret his daughter various things.
Residue, debts paid to Executor - Gregory CROMPE, also have my tenement in the East Ward, and to his heirs, assigns for ever.
Witnesses – Thomas HARRYSON, Thomas JOHNSON, James MARTEN.
Probate 16 November 1546.
