A chaplain celebrate half a year five marcs (66s.8d). To operibus
of the Chapel one great plumbri.
Daughter Katherine at her marriage 10 marcs (£6.13s.4d). Wife
Joan have for life a great maser harnessed with silver and gilt after
her death of John STACE my cognatus, and 20s.
Thomas my son a small maser. If he die before he marries then the maser
after death of my wife be sold, and money disposed by Executor.
Wife Joan have for life tenement in which I dwell, then to Thomas my
son, his heirs and assigns for ever. Son Thomas have another tenement in
the West-ward after my death, wife Joan having charge until Thomas of
lawful age or marries.
If wife Joan be with child a boy, then son Thomas have tenement in West
Ward, and the child after death of Joan the tenement in which I dwell,
but if a daughter son Thomas have the two tenements after death of Joan,
paying to the girl £10 at her marriage.
If son Thomas die under age, tenement in West Ward to Katherine my
daughter and her heirs and assigns for ever, and not have the £10.
Tenement in which I dwell be sold after death of Joan and money disposed
for our souls.
All my ships (naves) and nets with other sea gear to be sold, to
pay my debts.
Residue of goods to wife who with John STACE my cognatus my Executors.
