High altar 20d. To operibus of the church 6s.8d. Parish chaplain 20d.

Wife Isabelle six silver spoons, and silver flat piece.
Daughter Isabelle my best crater called standing piece, three silver
spoons, a girdle which was her mother’s, a broche.
Daughter Margaret my best bowl called maser with a flat piece, three
silver spoons, each heir to other, but if both die under age then to my
wife, except the standing piece to Richard SMALWODE my brother.
All the things in my house between my wife and daughters equally.
All lands, tenements in parish of Harrietsham be sold by Executors,
money – to a priest celebrating for my soul, friends, etc. for a year
in Chapel of Heth, and another priest in Herrietsham church for half a
year.
To my daughters at marriage £10, any residue to the poor, bad roads,
etc. but especially 40s. to repair highway at Hewyvats next Hith as far
as Howell.
Wife have my chief tenement in Hith, pigeon house, barn, all my lands in
Hith, Westhith, and Saltwode for her life, then to Isabelle my daughter
the chief tenement, pigeon house, my part of land called Coulveahawe
with my barn, and to her heirs and assigns for ever.
Then daughter Margaret all my lands at Seint Nicholas and la Quedhope
with the Pykemede, all my lands at Pedelynge with a piece of land upon
Lestone, and to her heirs and assigns for ever.
If both daughters die underage, then after death of my wife, all same
lands, etc. be sold by Executors, the money from my chief tenement to
priests celebrating for soul of Alice CONDY, my soul, parents, etc. and
to repair bad roads.
My brother Richard SMALWOD my pigeon house with land and barn.
Then the Church of Hith the land called Quedhope that the wardens do
every year – Placebo and Dirige with a mass by all the priests serving
in the church.
Then the Alms House of St John Baptist of Hith have land at St Nicholas
by the highway, late obtained from heirs of Richard APINGHAM.
Then all other lands sold, the money for our souls.
Residue of goods after paying debts, etc. to my wife and daughters.

HONYWODE, with Thomas RUSSELL overseer.
