Will of Christofer MOTE of Goodnestone next Wingham 20 August 1502

Christofer MOTE, 20 August 1502.
Buried in churchyard of Holy Cross of Goodneston.
High altar 3s.4d. and to each Light in the Church a bushel of corn.
John MOTE my brother a quarter of corn, my cloak, four ewes.
William MOTE my brother a stuppen and two ewes.
Residue to Executors – Robert and William QUYLTER, to dispose for my soul.
All my lands in Staple to be sold, and money disposed for my soul.
Witnesses – Dom John GOODFELOW, vicar, John HERING, John MOTE.
No Probate date.
