Will of William COURTMAN of Goodnestone next Wingham 18 Jan 1473-4

William COURTMAN of Rollyng in Goodneston, 18 January 1473-4.
Buried in churchyard of Holy Cross of Goodneston.
High altar for tithes 12d. Light of Holy Cross, two bushels of barley; of St Mary one bushel of barley. To the Nave of the church 6s.8d; to church of Chilinden 3s.4d.
John POTERUM for the last payment of my tenement of Chilinden 26s.8d and one ewe. Clemencie POTERUM 13s.4d.
Residue after paying debts, etc. to Joan COURTMAN and Robert GARVEYS my Executors, to dispose for my soul.
My lands and tenements at Rolling in parish of Goodneston of which Feoffees are William NETHERSOLE, Robert GERVES, Simon QUILTER.
Wife Joan have all profits from same until son William comes to age of 20, then to William and his heirs, etc. for ever, but if he die under 20, then Joan my wife have for life, then to be sold and money disposed for our souls.
