Will of William CHAPMAN of Ebony, Kent 22 May 1511

William CHAPMAN of Ebbene, 22 May 1511.
Buried in churchyard.
High altar for tithes 8d. Light of St Mary 6d. To each Light of St Peter and St Katherine 6d.
Henry CHAPMAN and John FONGELER my sons (sic) 12d. (? godsons).
Residue after paying debts etc. to wife Agnes who with John HAMON and Anthony SHALFORD my Executors.
Witnesses – William HAMON, Robert LOWDEN.
My messuage and garden in Reding in parish of Ebbene, of which the Feoffees – John HAMON, Antony SHALFORD, William HAMON, Roger TILBY.
Wife Agnes have issue and profits from my messuage and garden during her life, and after her death to child if my wife is with child, then to the same child, but if Agnes not with child at my death, then after the death of Agnes to my next heirs.
