John BRISE of Alkham, 24 January 1508-9.
Buried in churchyard of St Anthony of Alkham.
Son Richard two steers of three years.
Daughter Margaret six ewes.
Stephen HOGBEN have keeping of the cattle of my children until they are 14.
All lands,tenements bought from William BRISE my brother shall remain to him again paying my wife Margaret 66s.8d.
Residue after debts paid to wife Margaret, who with Richard AT WOOD, Executors, and John REYNOLD overseer.
