John AT MERSHE of St Peter’s in Thanet, 10 October 1469.
Buried in churchyard.
Wife (no name) have integra camere mea and one cow.
Executors – Sons Thomas and Laurence.
Feoffees – Richard NORWODE and Simon COKELYNE to sell two acres of land to pay debts, etc. whereof one acre at Solyshul between land of William PORTER north and common road west, and land of Richard CULMER south and land of George GRAUNTE east; and three rods at Upton.
Son Thomas have one messuage at Churchehyll which formerly was my father’s with a garden and one croft at Verchyf strete and one garden there with trees.
Son Laurence have my other messuage in le Churchehylle, near the message of Richard DUDEMYNTON, in which I dwell and which formerly was Dom Richard IYMONEGERR, and one garden, which three acres of land at Hedeghyshende.
Son Laurence ingrediat in coquina of Thomas and egrediat when necessary.
Son Stephen four nobles (26s.8d.) and three acres of land at Solyshylle, between the land of William PORTER east, and common way west, the land of Geoffrey BARDE north.
Residue of my lands equally between my three sons.
