Peter Thanet (Broadstairs), Kent from Arthur Hussey’s Manuscripts
of William MAYSTER of St Peter Thanet 31
MAYSTER of St Peter in Thanet, 31 December 1484.
Buried in churchyard.
To each Light of which I am a Brother 4d.
Wife Joan all my utensilia, cattle, grain.
Executors – Wife Joan and George CULMER.
Feoffees – John PAULYN, George CULMER.
Six rods of land to be sold, whereof three rods lie under the Croft of
George CULMER, and one acre under the messuage of John AUSTYN, and money
for debts, etc.
Wife Joan have my tenement and all lands for life, then to be sold and
20s. to son Nicholas or his children, and to Agnes my daughter 20s. and
residue for a vestment for the Church.
