Edmund AT KYRKE of St Peter’s in Thanet, 3 May 1486 (?1496)
Buried in the churchyard.
High altar 3s.4d. Ad opus of the church 3s.4d.
Wife Margarete have all utensilia of my camere, aule and kitchen, two acres of barley, two of corn, my seiatas (?seeds) at Solishill.
Christopher ATKYRKE my father have my best cloak and dublett, and a tunic called the jakett and pair of shoes.
Son John another cloak of morrey color.
Residue after paying debts etc. to Christopher my father, and Margarete my wife, to dispose for my soul, and they Executors.
Feoffees of lands and tenements – Nicholas EASTON, senior, William YOKLETT.
Wife Margarete have same for her life, then daughter Joane if of lawful age have two acres of land, which I bought of Thomas GILLOTT and to her heirs for ever.
Son John after death of Margaret have all my other lands and tenements and to his heirs for ever.
Witnesses – Sir Henry ASE, Thomas WATSON, William YOKLETT.
