Will of Bartholomew KEMPE of St Peter Thanet 19 Sept 1479

Bartholomew KEMPE of St Peter’s in Thanet, 19 September 1479.
Buried in churchyard of St Peter.
High altar 8d. Ad opus of the church 13s.4d. To each Light of which I am a Brother a bushel of barley.
Joan STONE my mother have all staurum of my camere.
Executors – Simon COLMAR and Stephen KEMPE.
Feoffees – Richard GOOSON and Roger GOTESLE, to sell two acres of land at Northwey to pay debts, etc. A priest celebrate for my soul for six weeks.
Stephen KEMPE my brother have six acres of land in the north part of the parish, paying 10s. ad opus of said church.
Probate 12 January 1479-80.
