Will of Simon COKELYN of St Peter Thanet Easter day 1485

Simon COKELYN, senior, of St Peter’ in Thanet, Easter day 1485.
Buried in churchyard.
To opus of the church 3s.4d.
To Thomas JENKYN 6s.8d. To Isabelle COKELYN 6s.8d.
Wife Isabelle all my utensilia in camere, aule and kitchen, except tabulis (tables) and trestles, also canaba grana (hemp seed), and corn, one cow and bull calf.
Executors – Stephen and Henry COKELYN my sons.
Feoffees – Thomas GRAUNT, senior, Stevyn GENKYN and Thomas GYBBE.
Son Richard have five rods of land.
A berton called Kynes to be sold to pay debts, etc.
Son Simon have my chief messuage with two barns and seven acres of land in the Westfylde and to his heirs for ever.
Son Richard have a messuage in parish of St Lawrence and seven acres of land at Wedwod and to his heirs for ever.
Son Herry a messuage called Hostyng and six acres of land, three acres in a croft on the north side of the messuage, and three in the north side of same croft.
Son Stevyn six acres of land, three in the croft at Noght and three acres without the croft.
Sons to pay to Isabell my wife 20s. yearly.
