Will of William BROOKE of St Peter Thanet 1483 (i.e. 30 April)

William BROOKE of St Peter’s in Thanet, Vigil of Apostles Philip and James, 1483 (i.e. 30 April).
Buried in churchyard.
High altar for tithes 12d. To each Light of which I am a brother 4d.
Wife Elene all utensilia of aule, camere and kitchen, also one cow, and residue for my soul after paying debts, etc.
Executors – Wife Elene and Peter CULVERHOUSE, with Nicholas EASTON, senior, supervisor.
Feoffees – Nicholas EASTON, senior and Nicholas EASTON, junior.
Wife Elene have all my lands and tenements, whilst a widow, then to be sold and from the money ad opus of said church 40s. and Elene my wife 20 nobles, and Margaret PODDE my sister 20s, and residue disposed for my soul.
