John BARTON of St Peter’s in Thanet, 10 September 1479.
Buried in churchyard.
Ad opus of the church my best togam. To each Light of which I am a brother a bushel of barley.
Executors – John LODERER, Nicholas CUVENEY.
Feoffees – Nicholas EASTON, junior, and John SPRAKLING, to sell five virgates of land at Jossedane and the money ad opus of the church where most necessary.
Also two and half acres of land in Bartilmewisdane to be sold and money to pay debts, etc.
