Richard ALGODE of St Peter’s in Thanet, 29 June 1479.
Buried in churchyard.
To the Light of St Mary de Brodesteyr 4d. To each Light of which I am a brother 4d.
Wife Joan have all staurum of aule camere, sive coquina, and my horse.
Residue after paying debts etc. to wife Joan and Solomon SAKETT to dispose for my soul, and they to be Executors.
Feoffees – Richard CULMER and William MAYSTER, to sell one and half acres of land at Solyshill, two acres and two virgates by the Mill of St Peter, and half an acre at Dane to pay debts, etc.
Wife Joan have my messuage with two coquinie (kitchens), and two acres of land at Grovis, and to heirs and assigns for ever, also Joan have all other lands and tenements for her life, then to Stephen FELDEBROKE and Alice his wife, my daughter, and their heirs for ever, the said Stephen paying to Joan ALGODE my daughter five nobles (33s.4d.) but if Joan died before her mother, then the five nobles for our souls, etc.
