John COWPER of Brenset, 8 January 1550-1.
Buried in churchyard.
Thomas COPER (sic) my son black ambling colt, a chest.
Son William the grey ambling gelding, a chest.
Wife Barbara household things.
Residue after debts paid to sons Thomas and William my Executors with John EDOLFE and Rafe BRIGHT overseers.
Witnesses – Thomas CHAPMAN, vicar, Simon COBBE, William CUTBERD.
Probate 14 November 1554. Archdeaconry Vol.29, fol. 164.
