Clement CLERK of Brensett, 20 October 1477 (sic).
Buried in churchyard of St Enswyth of Brensett.
High altar for tithes 12d. Light of Brotherhood of Blessed Mary 12d. Light of High Cross 20d. Light of Brotherhood of St Katherine 6d, of St Margaret in Old Romney church 6d.
Joan, Agnes, Alice, Benedict, daughters of my son Richard, each 9s. at marriage.
Residue to John ADAM my Executor to dispose for my soul.
Isabella and Joan my daughters have two and half acres of land in Snergate at Strangwer, and to their lawful issue.
John, son of Richard CLERK late of Brensett all other lands in Brensett when John is 20, and to his heirs assigns for ever.
Witnesses – Thomas RECHE, Walter FROST, Richard ELYS, John MAKETT.
