Will of Alan WHITE of Snave, Kent 12 September 1483

Alan WHITE of Snave, 12 September 1483.
Buried when God disposes.
High altar of Snave for tithes 209d. Light before the High Cross 8d. Light of St Mary 6d, of the Torches 4d. To the work or use of the church 10s. High altar of the church of Orlestone for tithes 12d.
Wife Alice have all indoor stuff which she had at her marriage and a cow.
That yearly for nine years Masses for my soul, parents, etc. viz: 1. Mass of the Name of Jesus. 2. Mass of the Trinity, 3. Mass of St Mary, 4. Mass of the Holy Spirit, 5. Mass of Requiem.
Residue of goods and chattels after paying debts, etc to Thomas White my son.
Executors – Alan WHITE of Werehorn, and Stephen WHITE of Rokinge.
Feoffees – Thomas WHITE senior of Snave, Richard WALLE of Werehorn, Stephen WHITE of Rokinge, and Alan WHITE of Werehorne of all my lands, etc.
That after the nine years aforesaid Thomas WHITE my son have all my land and tenements and to his heirs etc. for ever.
