Stephen POUNTES of Snave, 5 February 1504-5.
Buried in churchyard.
High altar 12d, Light of the Rood 12d, of St Mary 20d.
Residue to wife Joan my Executor, with Simon PARNELL overseer, he to have 6s.8d.
Wife all lands, tenements for life, then sold by Feoffees – Harry CLARKE, John MANNYNG, Thomas WAREYN, William LOWES, and to the church of Ivechurch 6s.8d, mending the way between my house and the Bridge 6s.8d. To the Rood Light of Snave 6s.8d, Thomas POUNTES 10s, Walter POUNTES 3s.4d, and 13s.4d. to my Feoffees, residue disposed 10s. yearly for our souls, and 5s. in bread and drink to poor people.
