Hene HYKKS of Snargate, 16 September 1532.
Buried in churchyard of St Dunstan of Snargate.
High altar 12d.
Sons John and William 40s. each. Daughter Elenore HICKS 40s, and a fine christening sheet, white testor of a bed.
To the child my wife goeth with 40s.
Residue after debts paid to wife Joan my Executor with Thomas HYLLES and Robert COLKYN overseers.
Witnesses – Dom Robert SMYTH, priest, William WHITEWODD, Thomas HILLES.
