Abstract of St Lawrence Thanet Wills from Arthur Hussey’s Manuscripts

Will of Henry SAUNDER 11 December 1472 of St Lawrence Thanet

Henry SAUNDER of ST Lawrence in Thanet, 11 December 1472 (sic).
Buried in the churchyard.
High altar 12d. To each Light there 4d.
Executors – Richard NOBILL and Simon SAUNDER.
Feoffees – Nicholas UNDERDOWNE, William JARRETT and Simon SAUNDER.
Five acres of land to be sold and one parcel of lingnum (wood) in the parish, and money to pay debts, etc.
That Stephen SAUNDER my brother have one parcel of wood at Northwode, and after the death of my wife, my brother Stephen have half an acre of land on the west side of Chilton.
