William BAKER of St Lawrence in Thanet, 12 March 1483-4.
Buried in Nave of the church and for that intention to the operibus of the church 6s.8d.
   To reparation of said church 6s.8d. To the parish clerk 8d. To the Light of Holy Trinity 8d. To the Light of St Lawrence 8d. To the Light of St Anthony 6d. To operibus of St John in Thanet 6s.8d. To operibus Church of St Clement in Sandwich 3s.4d. To operibus Church St Peter in Thanet 12d.
   To Godleve my sister 20d. To Sare my sister 12d. To Joan BAKER two sheep of two teeth. To Agnes HOOLOTTE one ewe of four teeth.
   Executors - wife Alice and John HOULOTTE to have residue to my soul after paying debts, with John BAKER, supervisor.
   Feoffees – Nicholas UNDERDOWNE Robert ARCHE, Richard FORMER, Thomas HARLEWYN.
   John HOULOTT have four and half acres of land which he holds, paying for same 40s.
   Five acres of land at Colliswode to be sold which Richard GOTISLE holds, and the money for a chaplain to celebrate in church of St Lawrence for half a year, in church of St John for a quarter of a year.
   Wife Alice have, hold and occupy all my lands and tenements in parishes of St Lawrence, St John and St Peter in Thanet, and St Clement in Sandwich, for her life, then John BAKER my son have the same.
   To the Friars in Sandwich 10s. House of St John, Sandwich 20d. House of Lepers ex porta Sandwich 12d.
