John ASTEN of Sandherst, 2 March 1532-3.
Buried in churchyard.
Benett, Juliane, Agnes my daughters each 20s. at their marriage.
Residue after debts paid to wife Joan my Ex’or, with John KNOTHE overseer.
Robert DUNCKE my Feoffee of land called Chekerham make estate of same to my brother, Richard ASTEN and to his heirs for ever, he paying my wife Joan £7, of that money to Benet ASTEN my mother five nobles (33s.4d.) and to a priest to sing for our souls quarter of year five nobles, residue to Ex’or.
Witnesses – Friar John FULLSHAM, Harry SWORDEFAYRE.
