Will of William CLERK of Canterbury after March 1473-4

William CLERK, bewer, of Holy Cross, Canterbury, 17 March 1473-4
Wife Joane have all my goods and chattels for life, then John BIGGE and Custance his wife my eldest daughter have my place at Elbrigge, and to their lawful issue, in default to John Bigge for his life, then to my daughter Margaret and her heirs.
   Also he gave to the high altar of Littlebourne church 6s.8d. and to the reparation of the same church 13s.4d.
   To the reparation of the road between Fower-heded Cross [where Stodmarsh Road branches off] and  Littlebourne 40s.
