Kent Archaeological Society Publications Committee

Introduction Terms of reference: to advise Council on the annual publication of Archaeologia Cantiana and the production and marketing of all other academic publications the Society may initiate.

Hasted Prize The Kent Archaeological Society’s biennial Hasted Prize, initiated in 2005, is awarded to the author of what is judged to be the best master’s or doctoral thesis on any aspect of the archaeology or history of the ancient county of Kent (including those areas once within the county but now part of London). 

Thirsk Prize The Kent Archaeological Society (KAS) announces a new biennial prize named in honour of Dr Joan Thirsk who was a distinguished historian and a long-standing member of the Society.
