FaceLab from Liverpool John Moores University will be at Maidstone Museum to talk about the facial reconstruction of Ta-Kush, the mummy CT-scanned for the new Ancient Lives gallery. Our Collections team will be talking about the research they’ve undertaken with international experts from around the world, on the age, health, status, mummification and death of Ta-Kush, and the surprise mummified foetus discovered in the scanning process.
Tickets are £10 each and include a guided tour of the gallery and a glass of wine. Available at https://museum.maidstone.gov.uk/whats-on/events/facing-the-past/
