Mainly correspondence for the Culpeper, Fairfax Martin and Wykeham-Martin families, 1664-1850, much of which relates to Virginia and to American affairs during the eighteenth century. Inventories of goods at Leeds Castle, 1681-1719. Household and estate, accounts, bills and vouchers, 1546-c. 1831, including a group for repairs to Dover Priory, 1611-20. Military papers of General Philip Martin, 1755-1816, including those relating to the seige of Gibraltar, 1779-83.1
