THE LOST DENS OF LITTLE CHART. By Gordon Ward, M.D., F.S.A.  continued

DASHMUNDEN.
This occurs regularly in the manor rolls and is also reported by F. who says it is in Biddenden. The name is on the 6 inch map and the estate lies about a quarter of a mile north of the Priory Wood already discussed. It is therefore possible that it was originally part of Lewcell alias Hlifgesella but was after a while separated in the M.R. for reasons no longer apparent.
