RICHARD CLEARKE of the parishe of Seele in Kent yeoman 1 August 1585, being aged and sickly etc. To be buried in the churchyeard of Seele. To the reparacons of the church of Seele 3s. 4d. To the poore of the said parishe at my buriall 10s. Rest vnto John Clearke my sonne my sole executor. Last Will: of my house and landes. Vnto John Clarke my sonne all that my mansion house and all my landes in the parishe of Seele vppon condicon that he paie vnto Thomas Clearke my sonne £10 that is 40s. euery yeare vntill £10 be fully paide (with power of entry in default). Witnesses: Gilbert Jenyns, clarke, Richard Blage and Robert Velsat. 
Proved 25 June 1589 in the parish church of Sevenocke in the Metropolitical Visitation of John Whitgift Archbishop 1589 by executor and Gilbert Jenyns clerk. (262a Whitgift I).
