To John Stake my sonne three paire of sheets, two paire of them he lieth in and one fyne paire, two table clothes the best and the worst that doth belonge therevnto the table and the forme in the haulle wth the tressells. Alsoe two platters three pewter dishes, one sawcer and the greate blacke Cowe and the paynted cloth in the haulle. Vnto James Stake my sonne 2 paire of sheetes one fyne and another course paire, the great brasse pott and one platter To Richarde my sonne one flockbed and the sedle as it is. Vnto John my sonne the great wollen chest. To Elizabeth Crowe my daughter a Browne pyde heyfer. To Maudlyn my daughter a blacke cowe. All the rest of my goodes vnto Elizabeth and Mawdlyne my daughter equallye whom I make executreses and Gyles Floudd, Gent, and John Some yeoman, ouerseers. In the presence of Richard Lightfote, minister, Robert Daubourne Anne Some and Jane Lampore.
The date of Probate is not filled in (but probably in October 1589) by John Stake proctor of Elizabeth and Maudelene daughters and executors.Inventory - £18. 3. 4. (251a Whitgift I).
