I geve my wief Wenyfryde Norton the howse I dwell in with a close of three acres lande and an orchade for the term of her lief and after to remayne to my daughter Judith. If she die without issue then to the childe my wief goith withall at this present and if both die then to George Tompson and his heyres for ever. One half of all my moveable goods vnto my wief Wynyfryde and the other half vnto my children equallie and if any of the ij children do die thother to be theyre.
Executor Wynyfryde my wief and William Holstocke. George Thompson Stephen Parrat and Robert Tompson clerke overseers. Written in Depforde Towne 10 June VI Edward sixt. Witness: Wm. Holdstock Christofer Davy, George Tompson, Stephen Parrat, Robert Thompson clerke. Proved 4 August 1552 by Winifride Norton relict. Bond in £20 (the amount of estate after debts paid) to pay £10 to each of the children. (135a Cranmer).
