WILLIAM DE ROOS Knight "Dominus de Hamelak and Beluer" (Helmesley Co. York. Belver Co. Rutland) 22 February 1412. To be buried in Christ Church Canterbury near the chapel for the chantry of the Reverend Father in Christ my lord Thomas Arundell Archbishop of Canterbury, if I die in London or those parts. If I die in the diocese of Lincoln to be buried in the Priory of Beluer and I leave to the said church of Beluer £40. If in the diocese of York in the Abbey of Rieuall. (He names Beatrice Lady de Roos his most noble Mother and others but there is no other Kent reference) 
Proved 6 February 1414. (271b Chichele I).
