To be buried in the parishe churchyeard of Hedcrone. To either of my sonnes John and Davie 12d. a peece and to either of my two daughters Katheryne and Margaret 12d a peece. Vnto Margerye Hadde my daughter two chestes the one called a ship chest, the other, the lesser, a joyned chest standinge in the parlor, a newe platter and a new pewter dishe to be deliuered when shee shall come to her age of 10 yeares, and 30s. within one year and a half after my decease and the money to be put forth to the vse of the same Margery, also one ioyned Bedsted in the parlour. My will is that Elizabeth my wief have the bringing vp of Margery my daughter and if it chance my saide wif to be maried to one that my ouerseers shall not thinks well of then my will is that Thomas Vpton one of my overseers shall have the bringing vp of my said daughter Margery. I make Elizabeth my wief executrix and Thomas Vpton and Ralphe Clarke overseers. Witness: John Fotherbie and Steuen Carter.
