To be buried in the churchyard of Hedcrone. 20s. to be distributed to the poore of that parish. To Elizabeth Boorman my daughter £40 when 18. Vnto Katherine Standen daughter to Richard Standen the younger of Hedecrone £5 when 20. To Elizabeth Carpenter my servaunt towardes the healinge of her face 40s. to be paide when her face shalbe cured. Rest vnto Katherine my wife and executor. Last Will: of my landes and tenements. I will Katherine my wief shall have the profitt of all my lands and tenements wherein I now dwell vntyll my sonne William Booreman come to 21 and then my messuage shall remain to him in fee simple. Vnto Stephen Booreman my sonne my messuage called Hyam where John Bassocke now dwellith lyinge within the Den of Withenbrooke and Redhill, when he shall come to 21. During his nonage I will Katherine my wief shall take the profitts etc towards the kepinge of ye said Stephen and her owne maintenance. Whereas I have soulde my wyndmill in Hedcrone to Alexr Bridge I will that if he paie the money according to the bargaine the money to remaine to my two sonnes aforesaid equallie and if he do not I will the said Mill to remaine to my sonne Stephen when 21, my wief takinge the profit till the said Stephen accomplish the yeares. If William my sonne doo dye before 21 the messuage before vnto him bequeathed shall remain vnto Stephan and if Stephan decease the land to him bequeathed to remain to William. If both die then to my doughter Anne wief vnto Richard Standen the part of William and that of Stephan to Elizabeth my daughter and her heirs. If my wief die before my sonnes come to 21 then Richard Standen and my daughter Anne his wief shall take profitts etc. duringe nonage bringing vp my children. Witness: John Fotherbie, Richd. Standen, Stephen Spyce, Edward Boorman. If my wife happen to be with child then £20 out of my lands to the said child when 21.
