GYLBERT GYLDEWYN of Rochester, Sunday in the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord 1369, 43rd year Edward III. To be buried in the churchyard of Saint Nicholas, Rochester, next the tomb of Alice sometime my wife. I leave to the altar of St. Nicholas, Rochester, 40s. To each chaplain celebrating in the same church at the time of my death 2s. To the Prior and Convent of Rochester that they may have my soul recommended in their prayers, for one pittance 10s. To be distributed among the poor and for the expenses of my funeral 100s. To the parish clerk 12d. To William Flyngaunt 12d. 
To Johan daughter of my wife 10 silver marks. To William Colyn "tabernario meo" a quarter of wheat. To Edmund Launce my servant two qrs of wheat. To Richd Brokemere half a quarter. To John Stout half qr of barley. Residue to my executors to dispose for my soul. Executors: Johanna my wife and Stephen Berham. Dated at Rochester. Proved 5 March 1369 at Otteford by Johanna relict in person of Stephen de Berham her proctor. (113b Wytleseye).
