WILLIAM HEGHTREDBURY. In my house at Wyngham 15th of Kalends of December 1372. To be buried in the church of Ikham. I will five marks for my "funeralia" on the day of my burial. I leave to the church of Ikham 20s. To the use of the church of Ikham my ‘noted’ breviary with silver clasps gilt and my red missal and my little missal with silver gilt clasps and a vestment with a chalice and two towels and one pair of corporals. I leave to the Vicar of the church of Wyngham two marcs. To the church of Heghtredbury a Silver cup with cover to be made into a chalice. 
To Hugh Wyking "vnam peciam latam argentiam" with cover. To Sir Thomas Carleton a piece of silver. To Sir Robert Valeys the same, Sir John Depyng 6s. 8d., Sir Stephen Charlefeld half a mark, Sir William Hamme the same, and Sir John Cheref. I leave to Godefrey my kinsman my horn and a white cup with a long foot "stagneo deaurato". To Sir Richard Prouendr (Provender) my priest 20s. and my small breviary and my missal covered with black cloth and Pars Oculi and a piece of Silver. To Henry my attendant (famulo) 20s., to John my clerk 20s., Stephen my attendant 13s. 4d and William my attendant 20s., John Brier my attendant 6s. 8d. I leave to little Janyn 6s. 8d., John Muriwedur 6s. 8d., John Swetyng 6s. 8d., John Fyscher 6s. 8d. 
I leave to the House of Charterhous 5 mrc. To the House of Maidenbradele 40s., the House of Langelet 40s., to the Collegiate Church of Wyngham a chalice. To the Hall of Merton at Oxford a book of Concordancies. Residue in three parts (1) to indigent and needy lay folk and the other two parts to needy poor scholars and the marriage of respectable girls. 
Executors: Master Richard Bosynton, Sir Richd Prouender and if either be dead or infirm I substitute Sir Thomas Carleton. Witnesses: Henry Scochard, Stephen Sandr, my attendants. 
Proved Nones of February 1372 by Sir Richd Prouender and Thomas Carleton chaplains executors, Master Richd Bosyngton declining. The deceased is described as "Master William Heghtredbury ‘sacre pagine Professor’ Rector of the church of Ikham and Canon of Sarum and Canon of the Collegiate church of Wingham’. (126b Wytlseye).
