ROGER DE SUTTONE, rector of the parish church of Charryng, 12 October 1378. My soul to God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, the Blessed Nicholas and All the Saints of God. To be buried in the church of St. George if in that parish it fortunes me to die. (place not stated probably in London). To my brother John Luttone (sic) 20 marcs. To Sara his wife, sons and daughters my ‘vestimenta’, furred and lined excepted. To the Reverend man Master Thomas Suttone, ‘sacre pagine Professori’, residenciary in the Cathedral church of Lincoln, my breviary in two volumes. I wish that ‘Leccura Hoshen’ which is in two parts of which each part is covered with white leather be sold and the money distributed for the soul of Master William Dunstalle and for the life and death of Master Roger de Fretone. I wish that my gloss ‘Archidiaconi super decretal’ be returned to my Master Sir Richard de Ranneshere because it is his book. To John Schortbroke half a mark in money or value and to his wife my long robe¼ ¼ 
I make executors the Reverend man Master John Schillyngforde, doctor of laws, and John Hamond of Sutton my kinsman and I leave to the said Master John "sextum meum librum integrum cum tribus glosis et glosa digne in fine" and I remit to John Hamonde 10 marcs he owes me. Item I owe two marcs to Edmund Horn on account of Sir John Redynghale late monk of Christ Church Canterbury and executor of the goods of Master Roger Wy late deceased in the Court of Rome. I will the said John Hamond have my cloak ‘de scarletto rubio’ furred with grice. I leave to the work (fabrice) of Christ Church Canterbury 20s. To John Schortbroke a tunic of ‘Medle’. To John Schillyngforde my glose of Paul on the seventh book of the Decretals. To John Hamonde my Kinsman my red bed with all the curtains. To John Hamonde my horse. To Master Adam Wikemere my book which is called Berengarius for 30s. to be paid to my executors. To Master Henry Wyntertone my girdle, gilt, with the long knife appended. Residue at disposition of executors. 
Proved 23 November 1378 by John Hamonde (Master John Schillyngford refusing). "Dictus Magister Rogerus tempore sue mortis dicte Curie fuit advocatus". (100a Sudbury).
